We exist for one reason – to help young, at risk children living below the poverty line. Kenya Kids provide shelter, sustenance, education and a nurturing safe environment. It’s what we do. And we couldn’t do it without the support of our incredible volunteers.
Kenyan Kids would not be able to function without the help of volunteers. Volunteers are an essential part of our organisation and provide a wide range of help, from working tirelessly on the Committee, helping to run events, providing expertise, resources, and limitless enthusiasm.
We need the help of people like you!
Promote Kenyan Kids
Working for a charity is one of the most rewarding jobs. Seeing children go to school who would otherwise have no chance to be there, providing a loving home to children who need it most, healthcare and education. We believe it is our duty to share our good fortune with communities most in need.
You don’t have to work for a charity full time to make a difference.
We can send you a promotional pack so that you can tell all your friends and family about our work. The pack will include:
- A help sheet to give you ideas
- Kenyan Kids Newsletters
- Child Sponsorship forms
- Information on giving regularly
By promoting Kenyan Kids with your friends, family, school, local community and church, you could be saving lives. In the next few months there could be life-saving resources in Africa because of you. There could be five children going to school because of you.

Run an Event
How do you spend your free time? Do you sit in front of the TV, on the internet or playing games? Did you know that it is possible to use your free time to save lives? By running an event for Kenyan Kids you can help provide brighter futures for African children. We will use the funds raised to provide shelter, food, education, safe drinking water and healthcare.
19,000 children die in Africa each day from poverty and disease which is so easily preventable. To help stop this, all we need to do is give up some free time, use our initiative and raise funds.
There are many events that are so easily arranged, either on your own or as part of a larger group, (school, youth group, workplace etc). An event can be as big or as small as you want.
E.g. (event with 10 people)
Sponsored walk: We can give you sponsor forms and other literature. All that you need to do is choose a date, find 10 people (it can be 2 people or 20 people). Choose how far you want to walk and then ask your friends to get sponsored. If 10 people each get £20, you will have raised £200.
You can do anything from coffee mornings and cake stalls to running a marathon and abseiling down a 20 storey building.
We will welcome all support and we will advertise it on our website and e-mail newsletter. We will fully assist you with literature and sponsor forms or in any other way. Please feel free to contact us.
